On 16.01.2014 was signed Grant Contract BG161PO003-2.3.02-171-C0001 “Diversification of COMPASS ENGINEERING LTD” between COMPASS ENGINEERING LTD and the Ministry of Economy according to procedure BG161PO003-2.3.02 “Energy efficiency and green economy” of OP “DEVELOPMENT OF COMPETITIVENESS FOR THE BULGARIAN ECONOMY” 2007-2013. The total cost of the Grant Contract is 2 040 731.50 lev, where 50% of that (1 020 365.75 lev) is a grant.
The contract is signed for 12 (twelve) months.
In order to carry it out, the following have been bought:
– Lathe – 1 item
– Cutter/Mill – 2 items
– LED Lighting – 6 sets
The project, which was carried out with the help of the Ministry of Economy, helps to improve the competitiveness of the company and to reduce the energy consumption of the production. This is done through investments in modern technology and equipment, which in turn helps with a stable ecological development and reduction of the negative impact on the environment.
The production is directed towards both, home market and foreign markets. The export is mainly realized towards the United States and the countries of the European Union.
